Of the movie reviewers on youtube, Disparu is one of the best....in this video, he tries to explain to Hollywood actors why they need to stop attacking the people they owe their living too........not the union, not the studio.......the customers they expect to pay their huge salaries......

--he explains that insulting your customers is a bad way to make a living
--he explains that it isn't the union or the studio paying their salaries

At the 14 minute mark he goes through how much an actor gets paid working in television, by hours and episode pay rates....interesting look into how much you get paid for saying a few lines for a week of work.......

Standard hilarious overstatement by the OP.

What isn't totally just in from crazy town is that while I appreciate the National Endowment of the Arts and that the government can and should support arts in the same way it supports agriculture, small businesses through the SBA, supports start-ups, supports states in any number of ways, supports students through GSLs and grants.... the arts community can do a much more effective job in encouraging artists to push the envelope.

The NEA is $162.5M. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation--$13B. How many movies that nobody has ever heard of have made $160M+? Charge ten cents more per movie ticket, gallery pass, subscription ,etc... You can blow the NEA out of the water.
