Former Chicago police Officer Jason Van Dyke was released from state prison Thursday after serving a little more than three years behind bars for the 2014 murder of Laquan McDonald, a shooting that roiled the city and has left a mixed legacy of reform.

Watching the video, it looks justified. Even if he was unarmed and just faking it, you shouldn't fake such things when there's a bunch of angry cops looking at you.

Do you think 3 years in prison is a little lenient for murder?

Blue city, blue state, DemoKKKrat mayor, DemoKKKrat police chief, lefty judge. What did you expect?

They're saying the deceased was armed with a knife. If you watch the video, it looks like he was aiming a gun.
