What I meant was, Trump and his government have been shredding files. Why would these files have been shredded at the same time that Trump's DOJ shut down the investigation?

Who really believes that Epstein killed himself? And even if he did, it was with help to make sure he carried it out. But mostly, it was probably murder and committed or ordered to be committed by people who didn't want information to get out.

Have you looked at the Epstein files? Some of them are pretty banal. What constitutes "Epstein files" is just anything related to Epstein, hence why there are over 6 million of them.

What files would have been there? I don't know, because they got destroyed. Maybe someone out there could tell us what kind of files you're dealing with.

But the real question is, why were they destroyed? Is this a normal procedure? I doubt it.

What we do know is that the DOJ was destroying files. This is FACT. Now, if they destroyed them in 2019, why not 2025?

Businesses and gov't agencies all over the country shred discarded and sensitive docs every day. That's why they have truck mounted shredding businesses. You're barking at the moon.

William Barr who had a falling out with Trump, over his constant claims of voter fraud that Barr had investigated and found no evidence of, and Trumps previous legal issues. They may have been BFF's at the time, but I highly doubt Barr would have had the files shredded.......and IF he did, he wouldn't have kept quiet after they broke up.

I have no idea why any files have been shredded so soon after Epsteins supposed death, but since nobody outside of the situation can say what was in the files........I think it's a bit much to jump to conclusions.

Yes, there are alot of unanswered questions about Epsteins life, activities, rise to billionaire status, circle of friends, full criminal status (not just sex and trafficking girls), and supposed death (I don't think he is dead), and the more info that's been redacted only adds more questions.

It sucks, I want to know too, but there comes a time when 'We The People" have to realize we will NEVER get all the answers because we're the peons.

You're making the assumption that everything the DOJ does goes directly through the attorney general. If Trump went to someone, or someone else went to someone and got it done without the attorney general having any knowledge, perfectly possible.

My previous thread on the Epstein files was about too many coincidences. And there are just so many coincidences that NOBODY could believe that they're coincidences at all.

Do I think Trump had Epstein killed? I don't know. Is it possible? Yes. Is it possible someone else in the files, more connected to Epstein did it? Yes. Is it possible that Trump was used by someone who wanted Epstein killed? Yes. Lots of possibilities because we don't have a lot of the information.

What we do know is this:

1) Epstein was given a very, VERY light sentence in 2008. This was 12 years after someone had reported him for child porn.

Apparently Acosta was unhappy that Epstein would go back to state level and only get prostitution charges, so at federal level they got him for soliciting a minor for prostitution.

The difference was no time v. 18 months and being on the sex offenders' register.

But it closed the case down and got Epstein the sweetest deal ever.

2) They went after him again, and it all disappeared AGAIN because he "killed himself"

I'm not assuming anything. I've already said there are alot more questions than answers and we may (probably) never know the truth. So to keep bringing up these questions is kinda pointless unless or until any more solid proof of anything either way comes out.
