We really need to take a serious look at our culture. Are we exceptional or is this a delusion of grandeur? Those who want to give themselves credit for the culture need to look at the reality of the problems THEIR CULTURE has created.

While America certainly has a lot of violence for a First World nation, we are not the most violent culture by a longshot.

That being said, if you really want to fix a lot of the violence here, we need to bring back sanitariums. As soon as we cleared those out, homelessness and violence got a lot worse here.

One particular ethnicity makes movies and "music" about their culture of violence....:eusa_whistle:

Lying to ourselves is why the problem continues.

Violent video games. Violent teevee shows. Violent movies. Music that glorifies violence. Lack of parenting.

Maybe we start there, huh?
While some studies have made the connection that violence in media can influence violence in behavior, I do find it interesting that many of the same people who make this connection deny that media has any influence on sexuality or gender identity.

The way I see it, if it influences one, it influences the others.

From this list a person can extrapolate which culture is the most violent.

Most Violent Countries in the World

1. Afghanistan – 3.55
2. Yemen – 3.39
3. Syria – 3.36
4. Russia – 3.28
5. South Sudan – 3.18
6. Democratic Republic of the Congo – 3.17
7. Iraq – 3.16
8. Somalia – 3.13
9. Central African Republic – 3.02
10. Sudan – 3.01

I hope this helps IM2

The latter maybe. The rest, no. The other countries do have all that too and they don´t have such a violent culture.

True. Granted, some of that is likely a result of government. Ice Cube and others have talked about how the government helped to promote and mold gangsta rap, for example. It seems that the intention was to encourage people to live in a way that keeps them down and ultimately dependent on government assistance in the long run, whether financially or by law enforcement.

The short answer is that government always needs victims to justify its existence.

The ammosexual Gravy Seals in the militant right like it that way. They want to expend ammo on live targets.

Here we go with people missing the real picture.
