Right....Nothing that they've done is their fault.True. Granted, some of that is likely a result of government. Ice Cube and others have talked about how the government helped to promote and mold gangsta rap, for example. It seems that the intention was to encourage people to live in a way that keeps them down and ultimately dependent on government assistance in the long run, whether financially or by law enforcement.
The short answer is that government always needs victims to justify its existence.
Do share with us the real picture then. If you're just going to demonize guns, you're the one missing the picture. Here we go with people missing the rea picture.
The four preceding the last one on your list were not a problem until the last one on your list became dominant.Violent video games. Violent teevee shows. Violent movies. Music that glorifies violence. Lack of parenting.
Maybe we start there, huh?
The government doesn't have a monopoly on force and your pea shooter is no good against the weaponry our military has. While some people have an obsession with guns, plenty of others just realize that letting government have a monopoly on force is a really bad idea.
Are those presented as everyday "normal" aspects, or the exceptions?
I'm not missing anything. We live in a violent culture, other cultures don't have our problem. This is an argument that is not just about guns.Do share with us the real picture then. If you're just going to demonize guns, you're the one missing the picture.
The abuse of weapons by some does not negate the right of others to possess them. Otherwise, none of us should be allowed to drive either.
Another lie.Remove a half dozen major cities (predominantly Democrat ran) and America doesn't even crack the top 100 for violence.
I'm not saying that. I'm just saying the fact that many of their problems are self-inflicted and result in government dependence is more than a coincidence. One of the most telling things about the history of black culture is that Northern blacks were doing quite well for themselves before the Great Migration. In many communities, blacks were living better than most of their white counterparts. Integrating Southern blacks into the Northern communities led to a lot of conflict and issues with culture. To be fair, this was probably inevitable due to having been subjugated by slavery beforehand. It's just that maybe better efforts could have been made by the system to help them integrate.Right....Nothing that they've done is their fault.![]()
You need only expend half the energy you do being a racist and look for yourself.Another lie.
Well, you are the expert on lying.Lying to ourselves is why the problem continues.
The Taliban would disagree. So would various other insurgencies. So would our own government that distributes small arms throughout the insurgencies it supports. The government doesn't have a monopoly on force and your pea shooter is no good against the weaponry our military has.
Plenty of other cultures have our problem and sometime worse. Again, it's worse here than a lot of other First World nations, but we're also more culturally diverse than most other nations. The more diversity you have, the more conflict results because of differences in values.I'm not missing anything. We live in a violent culture, other cultures don't have our problem. This is an argument that is not just about guns.
and which culture causes the most violence? which represents 13 percent of the population but commits 50 percent of all murders and 37 percent of all violent crime?I'm not missing anything. We live in a violent culture, other cultures don't have our problem. This is an argument that is not just about guns.
We are number one in violence. So no, others don't. And cultural diversity has nothing to do with it.Plenty of other cultures have our problem and sometime worse. Again, it's worse here than a lot of other First World nations, but we're also more culturally diverse than most other nations. The more diversity you have, the more conflict results because of differences in values.
How are we number one in violence? Have you looked at the stats of various African and South American countries? We are number one in violence. So no, others don't. And cultural diversity has nothing to do with it.
From this list a person can extrapolate which culture is the most violent.
