Every Classroom Should Have Heavily Armed Teachers In It

Sure Q NUT.
You're piss ant AR- 15 is NOTHING.
Compared to the lizard people.

You know...dipshit....the 2 or 3 people who are qanon believers.....they believe it and don't hide it...you idiot.....you are the only one here who brings up qanon......

If you didn't get the message from the democrat party, "White Supremcist" is the smear term of the day....qanon didn't catch on since no one knows what the fuck it is....except for the democrats who created it, and mindless, drooling morons like you who simply repeat it because the democrats told you to......

Again....Smear term of the day..."White Supremacist...." Please keep up with your democrat party smear tactics...

Members of a QAnon group based in Dallas have floated the theory that John F. Kennedy is not only alive, but disguised himself as former President Donald Trump over the weekend to attend a rally in Florence, Arizona.
As evidence, the group’s leader, Michael Protzman, claims Trump appeared to be shorter than he should have been,

After skirting the issue for weeks, President Donald Trump offered an embrace Wednesday of the fringe internet phenomenon QAnon, praising its followers for supporting him and shrugging off its outlandish conspiracies.
His comments reflected the highest-profile endorsement to date of the group, which has infiltrated Republican circles even as party leaders attempt to distance themselves.
"I don't know much about the movement other than I understand they like me very much, which I appreciate," Trump said in the White House briefing room.

I don't agree with you but at least your view is consistent.

What most conservatives here are saying is that they didn't trust us to TALK to their kids two weeks ago but now we can surely be "heavily armed" all the time. Sure yep. And if things go wrong surely they would have our backs, right?

Suuuuuure say the teachers.

Sure.
Well, I also think that the few teachers who are normal people who could be trained to carry....it is going to not be feasible for them.

Guns need to be secured around children...moreso than normal. (Kids are smart)

The training for shoot/don't shoot is difficult in a chaotic environment...and someone shooting back at you is unnerving to say the least.

Very often, even if the firearm is on a person, they will fumble and end up throwing the firearm or shooting the innocent or ineffectual shooting in the air.

Now they need to get access to a locking mechanism and unlock it and then go through the people until they find the active shooter with an accurate shoot/don't shoot.....
When so many rookie police officers wash out at that part of their training.

It's a lot of training...it's a lot of steel nerves....it's a lot of possible unnecessary injuries from unintended consequences.

I understand the desire for this but am having issues with understanding reasonable logistics for the execution of the reality.

Thank you and I 100% agree. Soldiers can and do conquer this very well. So do many police officers. But guess what? They trained for it and most importantly, they WANTED to do this.

For pity's sake. We are *teachers*. We didn't go into the profession to have great skills with weaponry, the kind you describe.

It's all so ridiculous.

No.......considering this....

Penn. psychiatric center shooting intended mass killing: DA

The Pennsylvania patient accused of killing his caseworker in a psychiatric center shooting carried dozens of bullets — and he would have likely continued shooting if a doctor didn’t fire back, officials said.

Richard Plotts, 49, is expected to be charged with murder for allegedly opening fire at Sister Marie Lenahan Wellness Center in Darby Thursday.

After he killed his caseworker, 53-year-old Theresa Hunt, and shot his psychiatrist, Lee Silverman, the wounded doctor fired back, stopping the attack, District Attorney Jack Whelan said in a Friday press conference.

Plotts had 39 more bullets on him. He intended a mass shooting, Whelan said.

In a psychiatric center. Not your average hospital. You would want your surgeon having a conceal carry while he operates on your heart or brain?

All right then.

Did you miss the part where I said my husband and I are gun owners? You did? So I am far from an "anti-gun fanatic". I do not think teachers should have guns, just like I do not think doctors and nurses should have guns in the hospital--but if there are armed security guards, fine.

I bet you understand the reason drs and nurses shouldn't have guns right?

Now try to figure out why maybe teachers shouldn't. Oh right teachers can do everything. Chase special ed kids into the road because we can't touch them to stop them from leaving the school. Toilet train 6 year olds. Escort kids all over because they can't be left alone ever without an adult because their behavior is so terrible.

Oh right, and teach them.

And while we're at it, conceal carry.

RIGHT!!!
You are still using that broad brush. Did many of call out teachers grooming kids..........Damn sure did. Is it all teachers .........NOPE......So not all of us are calling you a groomer.

Covid showed.........SOME TEACHERS GROONING KIDS........Because it was remote learning............And parents blew a head gasket and SAID WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT.

So many parents went to schools to vent...........and RIGHTFULLY SO.....meaning some that HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT GOT THEIR FEELINGS HURT........Well that is too bad when parents are in MOTHER BEAR PROTECTION MODE.

Now with that said.....ITS NOT YOU.

My suggestion STANDS..........Offer self defense training, arm some that are WILLING TO DO SO,...and give NON LETHAL options to teachers so they have a fighting chance if it happens to them.

In a nation of 338 million people.........Your odds are VERYSLIM that a mass shooting happens to you.

If teachers and schools don't want to participate.........Then when it does happen.......hopefully not...then when that guy says GOODNIGHT AND BLOWS you away,.....because you had NOTHING to defend with..............then your death is ON YOU.

Basic training can be done to anyone..........those willing.....those who don't have a problem with it........

Those that don't..................here...........spray this in his face and try to hit him in the balls with a baseball bat while he can't see.

I have very extensive training and experience in self defense type stuff and would do whatever I could to protect my students if the need arose. However - spoiler alert - I am not bullet proof. I have never touched a gun (other than to take one away from some idiot one time long ago) and I'm fairly certain I'd shoot my own foot off before I could hit the side of a barn (even from inside the barn). I can use or make into a shit load of things as weapons, but again - not bullet proof. Worst case scenario I die first, but that wouldn't do much good for everyone behind my corpse. At the school where I work there are probably 4-5 people who would be willing and qualifiable to carry a gun, but the school building itself is so big I'm not sure what the odds are that it would necessarily make enough of a difference in little enough time. Beyond that, with our lockdown procedures it would only mean that a few classrooms would have armed staff behind a locked door anyway. We've had a few gun issues this year, and the local police showed up remarkably quickly and in heavy force. I know several of them and they would NOT stand around for an hour if something happened.

Exactly....
Teachers teach...now I did have teachers who taught gun/hunter safety and target shooting in school...but that was a long time ago.
We did archery and 22LR.
We kept the weapons in a locked room or vehicles.

If we ever had someone shooting up the school when i was in school....well let's just say he/she would be outgunned. We all went pheasant hunting or deer hunting at some point. But so much of that sort of thing is no longer going on in school...no shop class. No woodworking, no metal fab...no plumbing pipe fitting, no auto/diesel mechanics....home ec included cooking and sewing and knitting and needlepoint and all kinds of stuff including curing and preserving meats.

All this stuff translated into skilled trades and other hobbies. Now it's all gone for electronics and keyboarding skills....not even cursive writing.

Not that it's all completely wrong but I know that I simply don't understand the why of what is going on in schools today. Especially when now there's been several school shootings. Maybe bringing back hunter/gun safety and target practice back to schools is not such a bad thing....pay the fees and sign the waivers. (ANY rule violation and you are tossed out immediately....the original "zero tolerance" policy). Skeet/trap shooting is fun as well as archery and 22LR. And study hall sucked vs shooting during that period.

Cursive is a useless waste of time.

"Hours after Texas’ deadliest school shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, state Republicans called for efforts to harden schools and arm more teachers. “We can’t stop bad people from doing bad things,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said on Fox News. “We can potentially arm and prepare and train teachers and other administrators to respond quickly. That, in my opinion, is the best answer.” There’s no assurance that an employee with a handgun can halt a school shooting.

For instance, during the 2018 school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, an armed school resource officer never went inside the high school or attempted to engage the gunman during the attack. Reports are circulating that a school police officer was on campus at Robb Elementary on Tuesday. The officer exchanged gunfire with the shooter and was shot and injured."

Fact of the matter is, arming teachers is the most effective way at stopping the next school shooter....Yea, yea, I know...we have been busy demonizing public schools and teachers and accusing them of indoctrinating our kids and forcing kids to be trans and teaching them CRT -- but that was just political hyperbole, so put that aside for now.... Truth is, we can't trust teachers to not force our kids to be gay -- but we can totally trust them to carry a Glock 9mm on their hip during finger paints time.. Matter of fact, hand guns aren't enough....we need them to be armed to the T -- so it is vital they have either AR's or AK's in order to more effectively stop a mass shooter...that is why the officers that first engaged with the Uvalde shooter failed...Not enough firepower....They had a chance to stop the shooter before he even started -- and they failed....if they were armed with a grenade launcher, they could have blown up the truck the shooter was in a long time ago...

Which brings me to another point....why aren't we training these so-called professional law enforcement officers better? As more information has come out, we are hearing that the police waited over 40 minutes before they entered the school...that is 40 mins of time for this demon to murder 21 people....with a weapon that does so much damage that parents had to submit DNA samples and wait the longest fucking wait of their lives --- just to find out if it was their child or not.....

“Go in there! Go in there!” nearby women shouted at the officers soon after the attack began, said Juan Carranza, 24, Javier Cazares, whose fourth grade daughter, Jacklyn Cazares, was killed in the attack, said “Let’s just rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything like they are supposed to -- “They were unprepared,” he added."

Apparently, police waited up to 40 minutes or more before entering the school because they were waiting on a tactical team to show up....why waste SWAT's time when you could have an armed teacher in the classroom instead? That armed teacher and other armed teachers from other classrooms could have done a far better job than well-trained tactical SWAT units....as long as you are willing to overlook the fact they are teaching our kids to have gay sex orgies in the class and indoctrinating them with CRT and stuff...
A very backwards thinking idea.

Schools aren't broken, they don't need fixed. Guns are the problem, society/culture needs fixed.

Teachers train to teach, not to be active SWAT team members. Do gun nuts believe teachers want to shoot people?

Scrap the 2nd Amendment, get control measures started and start sorting the mentality of society out towards guns. As the decades go by, you will start to enjoy the low gun incidents that the civilised side of the West enjoys.

Israel had two mass shootings in schools. After the second one they trained and armed their teachers. End of problem. EVERY SCHOOL SHOOTING since the mid 50's in America the shooters have been prescribed drugs to cure a chemical imbalance or just coming off those drugs. Each of the 200 drugs make the average profit of $7.5 million a day profit world wide. The drug industry pays over 7 times on lobbying than that of number two. That's enough to butter a lot of hands both at state and federal levels making it real easy to ignore the problem and blame a piece of steel. These drugs are more like poisons than drugs with mercury, Prozac and other poisons only a money craving criminal would feed children. The Nazis used Prozac to turn their victims mad. One boy was shy so they give him one of these poisons and two weeks latter he shoots up his school. Now they wipe up a bunch of poison then put a chemical imbalance for it to cure.

All that work for the FDA have financial ties to the drug industry. They are approving drugs twice as fast and twice as many. $7.5 million a day profit over shadow safety or reasonability. Until we have honest politicians the school shootings will not stop. Do you think this has anything to do with kids lighting schools on fire in countries that haven't the right to be armed or the guy wheeling the 12 inch blade? One more thing. No one on this Earth knows what a chemical imbalance is.

Guns? No idiots are the problem.

Guns aren't the problem. Four Idaho students got butchered with a hunting knife. The problem is psychos.

Guns? No idiots are the problem.
Correct, that's why vehicles have legalisation and driving licenses to reduce incidents. That's why construction workers need to go through safety legislation to obtain a CSCS card to go onto a building site to reduce incidents.

Every corner of society has idiots, but what's worse, dumb fucks think giving idiots guns without trying to weed out idiots at the start is a great idea. You wouldn't be one of those dumb fucks?
