EV maker slashes prices as it tries to avoid bankruptcy

That's fuckup hilarious libby since everyone drives a golf cart at the Villages.
My grandson who works for Facebook as an engineer owns a Tesla and my daughter told me she likes driving his car. But her and her husband own two cars. Both use Gasoline. She and he moved to Oregon and she reports to me the home they own is nice but she still longs to live again in California.

Solar panels have a problem with hail, dust and dirt, snow and worthless without the sun
My son bought a Camping Trailer when I first joined him in Idaho and he put solar panels on the roof. But I asked him about the home we live in and he says no thanks to solar panels on his home.

EV companies can’t survive in California. In fact, very few companies can survive in Democrat controlled California. But every EV company is hurting, even with the high gas prices.

California-based electric vehicle startup Fisker slashed the prices of some of its vehicles as it fights to avoid bankruptcy after a potential deal with another automaker fell through.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the 2023 Ocean electric SUV lineup in the U.S., which is equipped with Fisker’s 2024 Ocean OS software version 2.0, fell by tens of thousands of dollars.

Fisker lowered the MSRP for the 2023 Ocean Extreme trim from $61,499 to $37,499, the company said Wednesday. The 2023 Ultra trim will be priced at $34,999, down from $52,999, and the 2023 Sport will be priced at $24,999, down from $38,999, according to the automaker.

You guys act like growing pains in a relatively new industry never happen.

This is the real world, kid.

oh---at least THAT makes sense so that even I can understand it---
but what is the issue with disposal thereof? I am in a quandary----
should I take advantage of the current freebie offer? will I be stuck
buying special batteries or special other stuff? Neither he nor I is capable
of climbing ladders to dust and clean the roof. ----we is old and wrecked

It is Biden growing pains. He dictates to Americans we will drive EVS and is failing hugely.

I have no idea, I'm not interested in the boondoggle. I enjoy our natural gas and electricity from it and coal

you got COAL??? uhm.......does it make lots of dust? All I got is a socket
in the wall and some sort of water heater---"downstairs" He obliterated
the fireplaces (sob) He even got rid of the mantels and a whole bunch of
marble that lasted less than 24 hours in the backyard ( I did consider divorce)

We don't have coal but our electricity is supplied by coal is my understanding.

We burn a lot of wood though.

Two fireplaces. I love it. We're considering putting in a wood burner that connects to our heating system.

Damn---he obliterated every fireplace. Is it grounds for divorce? uhm....
of course where would we get wood in the asphalt jungle? I would not
be able to use migrant overflow as fuel----ethics.

My mom has about 25 acres of wooded land. It'll outlive me. Mostly hardwood
