That article quoted TRUMP! as agreeing to strategic sections of the wall and not the whole border being covered. Doesn't that kind of negate one of your main objections? At any rate, it looks like the democrats were at least willing to talk about DACA when they had no choice to do so or shut down the government.
Yeah, I think he should have taken that deal. At any rate, you've proven that the democrats were negotiating at the time, so kudos to you. One wonders then, however, why then the public vitriol about the wall? To listen to the usual suspects, the wall:
1. Was racist.
2. Wouldn't work at all.
3. Was too expensive.
4. Orange Man Bad, so wall bad.

Truth. What Trump promoted and campaigned on was a border wall continuously across the entire southern border...over mountains and desserts and rivers... (to keep all of these Mexican rapists, and thieves, and drug dealers and criminals from crossing... that the govt of Mexico was intentionally sending us). Don't cha remember?
