Jesus was not a pacifist. You dont forgive until there is repentance. Has Robinson said he regrets the killing of Kirk. No fn way

Maybe Erika is issuing her forgiveness too early, but I understand why she forgives at all. She is making sure that she doesn't compromise anything where her own day of judgement is concerned.

That is supposition. The Bible doesn't record Adam repenting. It does however record God's atonement on their behalf. He sacrificed an animal to cover their sin so He could follow them out of the Garden of Eden. We know that because their sons sacrificed to Him.
Love conquers hate. Jesus didn't use hate to destroy anyone. He didn't insist on apologies before He healed a person.
Whether or not the killer ever apologizes, that is on his ledger. His actions are between him and God. Erica's actions are between her and God.
