We do not, in any way know that Biden ever asked DOJ for the Epstein files be sent from SDNY in New York, to Biden in DC.... It was against protocol Before Trump for Presidents to do that, a separation of the executive and DOJ since the Nixon era.

The first two years of Biden the files were used in SDNY for the Maxwell trial and appeals, access to only SDNY prosecuting attorneys....

you could as easily say, Epstein was killed in 2019 with Trump as President, had nearly two full years of his presidency to look and see if Biden or any democrat was in the files and use that against Biden in the 2020 election.... . Barr is who sealed them.

What part of "no one asked" are you not understanding? The only reason Trump should have released them is that he campaigned on something nefarious was hidden in them.
