I have responded to that question many times.

I wouldn't know, but I wondered if it is possible he just didn't want to be the man in the White House when the shit hit the fan, and some stuff started to burn to the ground. I'm almost certain this mess will drag on and diminish the ability for the President to be as effective as possible, no matter who is in the chair at the time. President Biden in my opinion was not at the top of his game anyway, and I would hate to have seen what a mess that could have been.

It could be the amount of exculpatory evidence versus more substantial evidence necessary to bring charges with a reasonable of amount confidence those charges will result in a conviction, but again I wouldn't know. The people want blood, just look around, and there better be some blood in there. Some folks aren't going to be happy no matter what comes out.

What I do know, is that the first emails released were released by Democrats, and then some emails were released by Republicans. There are accusations that both parties cherry-picked the emails they released for political purposes. Both parties have been complicit to some degree in either stopping the release or begging for it when the political environment suited their desires.

The truth, I don't know why President Biden didn't release the files, and I don't know why President Trump was against the idea for however long he was. I also don't have the need to speculate on the matter considering I fully understand that I don't know what they know.

However, in response to the comment you are responding to, I do have some concerns regarding the eagerness a lot of people are showing towards a massive dump of information that we all know a bunch of folks are going to be speculating about every little thing they think means something, with a careless disregard towards the consequences that may entail.

I want justice for the victims, and punishment for the perpetrators, and hope that the people in charge of the process are a bit more serious about the matter and do it correctly, than simply opening a door and throwing a bunch of files down the hallway.

But hey, that's just me, and what do I know?

Yeah, well I am fully aware of the apparatus of the establishment, and I do still vote in most every election including dog catcher if necessary. I seldom vote for Democrat candidates (one that I can remember several years ago). I understand the Democrats and there is no reason I could suspect they would act otherwise considering my experience with them.

Republicans, well they are often disappointing, but I have to make a choice one way or the other until a significant alternative is available. I am also fully aware that any alternative that comes close to gaining that power, will be devoured by the establishment and consumed by the party that is the closest to its ideology.

If you are wondering why I have such a lassie faire attitude towards it, it's because neither one of them represent what I think is best for this nation. Progressive Liberals are no longer liberal, and Modern Conservatives are no longer really conservative. I mean they might be as conservative as you are going to find in the current options, but in my opinion that is still a far sight from where we need to be.

So what, I have an archaic view of what I think the nation should be, bound to our Constitution and the 18 enumerated powers. We're not going back there, and I am pretty sure it is lost to time. We have so bastardized the Constitution, that I am surprised we have lasted this long.

But I am not apathetic (except on rare occasions when it is the best option), and I am going to keep on talking to people, trying to get them to start thinking about more than the confines of the beltway. We have to come together, or those damn fools are going to ruin us. There are a few good folks up there, but not enough.

I doubt I will ever see the change I am looking for, but I can start the search.

Yeah, I have seen a few things posted by the poster you referenced, and he's just a dupe of another color. He's not quite as problematic because he is transparent.
