The way I'm understanding things is if Trump ordered an investigation into Democrats, no files need to be released if there is an ongoing investigation in progress.

At a minimum, this allows Trump's lackeys to scrub these files of his name.

When, and if, these files get released, be very skeptical if Epstein's close personal friend Donald Trump does not appear frequently in them. I'm completely expecting a whitewash to occur before their release.
