The Supreme Court restricted the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from power plants Thursday, potentially dealing a crucial blow to the Biden administration’s plans to fight climate change.

The 6-3 decision overruled a lower court decision that gave the federal agency virtually unlimited regulatory powers through the Clean Air Act.

Writing for the majority, Chief Justice John Roberts ruled that “it is not plausible that Congress gave EPA the authority to adopt on its own such a regulatory scheme.”

Whoo! The previous decisions were mere foreplay compared to this.

Hot damn! The Supremes hit three home runs this session.

Affirmed the right to keep and bear arms.

Put an end to federal protection for the killing of children for the purpose of birth control.

Told the stupid bureaucrats that they can't create their own laws.

I see this as a double edged sword. I agree that unelected employee's should not be able to write laws others have to follow. This again falls 100% on the backs of politicians who took the cowards way out and allowed this. This is their job but they wanted to be able to put the hard work onto others.

On the other hand I believe we shouldn't just spew pollutants into the air and this will likely increase that.

How about just eliminating the rules on the books that some idiot Left Wing bureaucrat came up with instead of elected representatives?

You don't know a Republic is suppose to work, do you?

Remain in Mexico was an EO. Yes they can die with the next administration. EO's are the same issue we have here. Presidents too lazy to actually do the work to get something passed.
That is not the point. Trump was made to jump through regulator hoops to change the policy. Now Biden is not. That is the real danger here.
