What else is new.

They don't want the people who LIVE in these areas to access the forests, or use the resources...but they're perfectly okay with coming in and trashing them THEMSELVES.

Willamette Natl. Forest: Volunteers clean up 3.6 tons of trash over Earth Day weekend

The Forest Service will claim this is a good reason for them to further restrict access to the forests.

Yes. It's a common result of one of their 'festivals'. They aren't 'environmentalists', they just play those on TV.

From your link...................

FALL CREEK, Ore. – Volunteers removed more than 7,200 pounds of trash from the Fall Creek area of the Willamette National Forest during an Earth Day cleanup event.

Nearly two dozen people went out for the weekend cleanup, which was organized by the Friends of Fall Creek Watershed.

They worked to clear trash and debris from known dump sites along forest roads in the Fall Creek area.

The Willamette National Forest said the team took out about 3.6 tons of trash from the forest area – excluding the 30 tires and two vehicles that were also removed from the forest. The group said they've cleared around 15,500 pounds of trash since the beginning of the year.

The environmentalists didn't leave the trash, they celebrated Earth day by removing the trash that was already there FROM KNOWN DUMP SITES along the road.

Misleading title.

She probably just saw the picture, saw trash and that there were Earth Day participants there, so she made up her own narrative to try to blame the environmentalists.

She does that on a regular basis.

Yes. Why would they need volunteers to pick up after them? I guess they missed that part of the article.

And what the fuck do we pay the forest service for, if they aren't picking up trash out of our parks?

I have an idea.

Stop telling the pukes from the cities to infest our forests.
Open up the roads, allow people to access the resources...
Get rid of the worthless forest service and BLM fucks.
And watch our public lands become beautiful again.
