Environmental Downside of Electric Vehicles

That is what happens in a free market. Companies try to make things their customers want. I thought you understood that.

You already do it literally every single day you are alive. Unless you were born before 1906 you don't know a world where the government didn't control at least some of the quality and type of materials on the market.
Democrats dictating that their market will be entirely electric vehicles is not making things their customers want. That has not happened in tje USA, ever.

You call that, "the government controlling some quality and materials on the market."

You lack common sense. Thank god you have the internet, you certainly can not say something that stupid to your family and freinds.

Wow. Slow down on the Monster ENergy Drinks there, Commando.

I like what Nissan is working on right now.

It's a hybrid vehicle with only an electric drive train rather than both gas an electric as in current hybrids.

There is a small ICE tuned for extremely high thermal efficiency ( up to 50%) that is used to power an internal generator that keeps the battery charged. This allows for a smaller battery and less vehicle weight and it eliminated all the range and charge time concerns. Smaller batteries also means easier battery changes and less environmental impact from mining all those metals. AND we won't have to tear down all our fueling infrastructure and replace it all with charging stations which also means we will take pressure off of the grid.

That's smart.
