Gee straight women have been putting up with unwanted flirting and advances made by straight men for years, but when we object to this as abuse, you complain that we're "bitches" and "lesbians". We should love it that men appreciate us. But when it happens to YOU, it's destroying your way of life. Can't you just say "I'm not interested"?

We've had gay rights and gay marriage in Canada for more than 20 years, and it's had no impact on my life at all. But then I'm not offended if gay couples are holding hands. That doesn't affect ME at all.

Gays have had rights around the world for years now. Only authoritarian countries like Russia, Hungary, and other restrictive and oppressive nations have a problem with gay marriage.
Gays in NL are pushy, vulgair and rapists when drunk.

They seem to think that their words, will make people forget how dei and diversity and ect, has been enacted, and we have been living under it, and harmed by it, for decades,

they think they can just talk some shit and their words are more important than what we all have experienced and seen with our own eyes.
Another good answer.

DEI perpetrates racism and is one of a long list of things democrats have done to ensure racism continues so they can use it come election time. But, as more minorities give up on the do nothing democrats these race baiting tactics will die.
Yes it does. I agree. Another good answer.

Saving Taxpayers Money is "Authoritarian"? Keeping Political Promises is Authoritarian? Ending Wars is Authoritarian? CUTTING Regulations is Authoritarian? Upholding our Immigration Laws is Authoritarian? TELLING people how the Gov't is wasting Taxpayer money is Censorship?
Good Points! None of those are the work of an Authoritarian.

I dunno. A meritocracy system has already failed in the USA and EU, I think.
Maybe it is time to step towards a social credit system diected by a jury legal system with an honest & highly-intelligent & well-informed higher and supreme courts that do not employ juries at all anymore.

Seems like a silly question. DEI is a race-based discrimination system that factors one’s race or ethnicity into hiring, promotion, and admissions decisions - with favoritism given to specific groups - rather than focusing solely on merit and qualifications as the overriding factor.

Getting rid of racist policies is a good thing.
This post is also a good thing.

The Declaration of Independence promises and equal opportunity to all, not an equal outcome.
DEI is discriminatory for the reason you stated. It excludes meritocracy. Some might then conclude that DEI is based on racism and bigotry.
Good information provided.
Yes it does.
The Declaration of Independence definitely does not promise or promote an equal outcome.
I agree. Yes it does & that is not a good idea.
I think, the some that might conclude that DEI is based on racism & bigotry have common sense instead of emotional reactions.

The basis of DEI is to combat what the left call systemic racism. But if there is systemic racism how can people of color go on to be CEO's, neurosurgeons, famous actors and athletes, politicians and the mother of all professions, POTUS? The minute Obama was elected POTUS the cries of systemic racism should have died. The fact that it didn't and was brought to the level of DEI means that politically it was still needed by the democrats to get votes.

as a hetro, i see LGBTQ+ers encroaching more and more into the lives of hetros, in ways ranging from vulgar flirting with just about any man in the streets (solved locally for the most part by LGBTQ+ men wearing red clothing items), to blatant PDAs by LGBTQ+ couples (mostly men), to LGBTQ+ers infiltrating roles traditionally reserved for women who are born as a baby-girl.

and i don't like it one bit.

but in order not to bias this discussion too soon,
i'd like to hear your opinions on the subject.
I don't care what gender, real or fake, a citizen might be. If he/she can meet the qualifications for federal employment and has credentials/experience better than the other applicants, he/she should get the job.

I don't care what color of skin, ethnicity, religion, country of origin or whatever a citizen is, if he/she has qualifications/credentials/experience better than the other applicants, he/she should get the job.

Transgenders should not be in the military or other positions requiring deployment for long periods because of the expensive and dangerous drugs they have to take to stay transgendered.

Eliminating DEI is the best thing that could happen for people of color. No more would the qualified black man or whatever be regarded as the 'affirmative action' or 'token employee' and everyone would know he merited his job and earned his promotions. He would not be pushed into the awkward position of having to 'speak for his race'. He might still have to deal with the 'hanky head' or "Uncle Tom" accusations from the race baiters, but people who matter would give him the respect he has earned and is due.

It will go further to reduce/eliminate the last remnants of cultural racism in this country than anything else we can do to accomplish that. It will finally allow us to be a colorblind society where skin color is of no more importance than hair color or eye color.

The LGBTQX whatever crowd will hopefully be retrained to accept themselves as who and what they are, not expect special or unreasonable accommodations for them, will learn not to be in everybody's face and just be citizens like everybody else. Which will do more to eliminate the residual cultural prejudices against them than anything else we can do to accomplish that.
