February 2, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – A judge has awarded $115,000 to a man whose employer did not let him use the women's bathroom.

Minnesota-based Deluxe Financial Services, the largest check printing company in the U.S., is paying the settlement and apologizing to a Mr. Austin, who now goes by the female name "Britney."

Mr. Austin was hired and employed as a man in the Phoenix offices of Deluxe, but in 2011, he announced to his supervisor that he considered himself a woman and began dressing as a female at work. His supervisor would not let him use the women's community bathroom, and, according to the lawsuit, co-workers "intentionally us[ed] the wrong gender pronouns to refer to" him. Deluxe also refused to change his name to "Britney" on company records, because he had not undergone cosmetic surgery to make himself appear female.

The Obama EEOC brought the lawsuit. EEOC attorney David Lopez explained that the Obama administration is committed to "securing the rights of transgender individuals," and "[w]e hope that employers will take notice and begin to take proactive steps to prevent and eliminate discrimination against their transgender workers."

Hahaha. What if a fireman or cop pulled this stunt....see....they wear the same uniforms as females so the can "dress female" without changing and just demand use of female bathrooms and change their first name on department stuff.....then sue for 115k when they get oppressed.

That's where this is heading. Same with segregated sport teams at schools. Those will have to go too. and schools will have just one basketball team and one track team open to everyone.

There are boys and girls in PE that plays games like throwing balls, running on the track and even baseball.

What will probably happen is the teams will be required to have equal numbers of boys and girls. Otherwise the teams will be all male.

No. Remember sports rosters are the only place diversity and equal racial representation doesn't matter

Americans will wake up and find that common sense notions like separate restrooms for the sexes have been obliterated by the relentless tide of left-wing lunacy.

It harms women to take away the one place they can get away from men for very private activities such as using the toilet, changing tampons/sanitary napkins, nursing babies, putting on/taking off makeup, changing diapers, taking birth control pills, talking about men, and gossiping about other women.

If Democrats keep this up, a big chunk of their base, women, will abandon them.

Amen to this. If respect isn't going to be shown, it shouldn't be expected in return then.
