The Big Orange Head has proven his ignorance on many subjects, and continues to do so as the days pass.

His criticism of Germany is a prime example. Germany is part of the European Union, and is part of that trading bloc. So, the Big Orange Head’s worry about the U.S./Germany trade deficit is a non-starter. The same with Big Orange’s claim of Germany’s currency manipulation. That country’s Bundesbank plays no part in setting monetary policy, that task belongs to the European Central Bank, which does so for all members of the eurozone.

Were the Big Orange Head truly interested in becoming a knowledgeable statesman, instead of continuing to be a loud-mouthed bully, he would have educated himself on a trade issue that does matter to the U.S. as well as other European nations concerning Germany. He would then have had the facts necessary to discuss the complaint that Germany “saves too much and spends too little, creating internal economic imbalances that make it harder for struggling countries elsewhere in Europe to compete.” But no, he refuses to take the time to familiarize himself on the relevant issues of day to day government business.

Unfortunately, people of reason here in the U.S. know Big Orange has neither the intelligence nor the integrity of his predecessor. So he will remain an ignorant embarrassment to our country and its citizens for the entirety of his presidency.

France’s Macron, Italy’s Gentiloni, and the other nation’s leaders at the G-7 meeting have all arrived at the correct assessment of the Big Orange Head. But it was Germany’s Angela Merkel who stated it best, “The times in which we could completely rely on others are on the way out. I’ve experienced that in the last few days. We Europeans truly have to take our fate into our own hands."

Which brings up another problem the Big Orange Head is fomenting. As he continues to burn bridges with (soon to be former) allies, including United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and now France, Germany, Italy, and the rest of the G-7 members, another issue raises its ugly head, the war Big Orange wants to start with North Korea.

Big Orange’s bullying tactics have now made any help from our “allies” tentative at best, which makes committing an all volunteer military already weary from fighting for many, many years in Afghanistan, Iraq (and likely other locations unknown to the American people) a very risky decision.

Therefore, to fight, what will inevitably be, a protracted ground war with North Korea, reinstating the draft to conscript the tens-of-thousands (possibly hundreds-of-thousands) of additional troops necessary becomes the only viable option.

However, a reinstatement of the draft is a policy conservatives would be foolish to pursue, but, due to their limited memory function they do NOT know why. It is their limited, no, very limited memory function that made them, long ago, forget the lessons of Vietnam.

The most important lesson conservatives have forgotten of the Vietnam era is: sending tens-of-thousands of draftees to die in a needless war creates millions of liberals to oppose that war, and vote out the warmongers in government, Republican and Democrat.

The liberal protests that forced both the end of the Vietnam war and the Watergate investigation that brought down a corrupt Republican administration was America’s last shining moment. Sadly, in the years since, the corruption of conservatism has again slowly infected this nation, and brought us the greedy, self-serving, and unprincipled administration we now have in 2017.

So pay attention conservatives. If you want to your Republicans to remain in office so they can continue their exclusive service to the fat cats and screw everyone else, don’t allow the Big Orange Head start a war with North Korea.

Of course, the conservatives are much too stupid to understand this, so war with North Korea it will be.

Yes, everyone is well aware of the pride conservatives feel for their willful ignorance.

Trump did exactly what he intended in Europe. The European nations have now accepted responsibility for their own primary defense and have committed to appropriate expenditures to ensure that. They've been using the US as a crutch for far too long. That doesn't mean we won't abide by our commitments, it says they have to also.

Deadbeat nations like German can try to hide behind the EU, but the US doesn't have to honor that ruse. As the President continues to work to protect American jobs and American taxpayers against foreign interests, loyal Americans will continue to support him.
