Four months ahead of the elections the red parties must fear for their power. Although they will probably remain in power due to "fireall"-policy, their support is decreasing overall, except for the Left Party with + 3 % in the latest poll. SPD loses 12,6, now 27 %. CDU (crypto-leftist) loses 3 %. The Greens will be kicked as they end up below the 5 % mark. The FDP´s ("market-liberal") result is below measurability. Their voters all stream to the AfD, the party of freedom and civil rights. Plus 19,3 % for Germany, now 36 %.
Whether the firewall will save the the old parties´ reign for another turn or not is not so important. They will continue with their hostile policies and thus whip more people towards the AfD.
