Elon to recommend $5k Refund To TAXPAYERS.

Pisses you off when Republicans do it - eh?
Not me, I love money no matter where it comes from. Did you miss 2020 where Trump insisted he sign the stimulus checks and he wanted them to be more than what we were getting?

They signed off on the bill to allow money to be dispersed.
Don’t be the continual dope.

They didn’t sign off knowing the democrats were using taxpayer money for their politico-religious ideology of tranny perversions and feeding leftist tabloids.

Oh horse shit they had every ability to read like the Dems and Repubs wrote. All you are doing is admitting the GOP was part of the problem, of which they were and are.

Yep, Republicans are definitely not worried about the debt or deficit. You're all liars and hypocrites.
How is using 80% of the trillion going toward the debt not caring?

American taxpayers have been overcharged to throw money out on woke projects in foreign countries, and at least half of them are struggling with daily expenses. Why do you begrudge giving back a fraction of the overcharge back to people who paid it, and yet insist people who pay NOTHING in taxes get free stuff?

I have him on ignore, so no idea what crap he just said, but you should know that he has admitted to being a daily drug user.

No, since taxpayers were overcharged to pay for government waste and fraud, at least a fraction should be returned to them. These are mostly working class and lower-middle income people struggling with high prices.

How about we lower food stamps by 10% since recipients can’t spend it on junk food anymore and apply THAT to the debt? Oh no….you're all about overcharging taxpayers and continuing to give $1000 tax-free in food stamps to people who don’t work,
Sorry Lisa, nothing should be returned to the taxpayer until the debt is paid down. We got ourselves into this and it is going to be difficult--even painful to get the country out of it. It takes discipline.

I’d be OK with that as long as we reduce all the handouts to able-bodied people who refuse to work full-time jobs.

There is something blatantly unfair overcharging hard-working taxpayers struggling to get by so Dems can throw away hundreds of billions of dollars - and yet handing out all sorts of freebies to entitled welfare recipients, no questions asked. Have you seen the videos where grown adults are screaming that they won’t be getting $1000+ in food stamps unless they get a job?!

I remember when the USSR went tits up (they bankrupted before just we did) Reagan was sweet mouthing the "peace dividend" that the taxpayers would see because of the reduced need for continuing the cold war. That lasted about 85 minutes, then we were right back on the treadmill.

LMAO, here we go again. Same tactics we saw in 2020 and 2024. Democrats whining "the sky COULD fall." "We all MIGHT die." Go howl at the moon. When you come up with something that Trump has done that is worse than Joe Biden's/democrat's dumpster fires, maybe I'll listen but making unsupported predictions of what MIGHT or MIGHT NOT happen isn't going to get it.

I really don't have a problem with a well regulated welfare system for Americans that are down on their luck. I don't want to see trillions of $$$ of foreign aid going to other countries. I think that tap should be closed immediately and completely.

And people that don't understand the difference between "soft power" and military power resulted in WWI and WWII.d

Isolationism and participation in the Global Economy are mutually exclusive.

Nowhere have I suggested isolationism. You are conflating sticking our nose in someone else's war with it. I've seen the results of those types of policies and they are never beneficial in any way to the US. Fifty-eight thousand Americans were sacrificed for one in southeast Asia. You saber rattlers are real big on these forays, but when it comes to showing your own personal commitment, not so much.

Well, that’s the ticket - “a well-regulated welfare system.” As it now stands, we have able-bodied adults in their 30s who have never had a full-time job in their lives, and shop at upscale groceries that the working class can’t afford. When they age out of the system due to the age of their youngest child, they have another baby - and get right back on.

As far aid to foreign countries, we have to weigh what we get in return. Most of our giveaways are, I’d agree, a big waste of money.

And there were 522,000 military deaths in WWI and WWII.
