It would be preferable that no one wanted to use recreational substances but in my opinion pot is the least of those worries.

That’s what misinformation does. In addition to being a gateway drug, pot causes mental illness on several levels and is addictive. It’s only purpose is intoxication.
The industry has plenty of money and politicians obfuscating the harm.
I’m one of the beta testers who’s had to live with cannabis-induced derealization disorder for fifty years. Very real, very crippling and caused by pot. Period.
