“Eleven prominent Republicans, including ‘Republican-appointed former judges and high-ranking federal senior legal officials,’ on Monday submitted an amicus brief in support of special counsel Jack Smith’s proposed trial date in the case of former President Donald Trump’s alleged election interference, CNN reports.”

Three of the eleven Republicans filing the amicus brief are co-founder of Federalist Society Steven Calabresi, former U.S. attorney general Alberto Gonzales, and former 4th US Circuit Court of Appeals judge J. Michael Luttig. These three have been added to trump’s “enemies list” as will the remaining eight when their identities are made public.
