The American people want something even more far right than Trump and that's the reason why Elon imagines he can challenge Triump from the extreme right of Nazism.

It's not hard to understand how Elon is all about gaining the Hitler-like power that is now Trump's.

His Nazi salute and his hinting at praising Hitler for his accomplishments, is not necessarily a negative trait to the Magas. In fact, it will be secretly admired by most of them.

Elon is finding the best way to challenge Trump when Trump starts to fade in popularity. The Magas want more fascist solutions and they want it faster. (that can be measured by their extremism on this board)

We know who they are but they will try to identify themselves from now on.

Sort of the equivalent of mid-term elections (parliamentary systems are weird) are going on in Japan right now. Voting closes on the 20th. Like here, politics in Japan had been drifting far left for years. Like here, politics are currently trending back to the middle (hopefully on the way to the right). We'll see.

Your statement that the US has been drifting far left is belied by Trump's victory and both branches of Congress being in the hands of the GOP.

The Japanese election seems to be interesting in that immigration is an issue in Japan as well. Same shit as in the US. Politicians ranting about foreigners abusing their welfare system, not respecting Japanese culture, and all being thieves and bums.

Seems like Japan wants to go back to the good old days.

I would say that I have been to Japan and enjoyed every minute there. Kyoto, especially, was beautiful. Japan is an underrated foodie destination. Some of the best food in the world.

I am HUGELY disappointed in Elon that he is attempting to divide the ranks of MAGA patriots among the Republicans and Independents and I have told him so. I hope he regains his senses soon or he, aided and abetted by the gullible who follow him, will hand the government back to the Democrats who will undo all the good Trump has done and will have unlimited license to continue their purpose to destroy America as it was intended to be.

It is a GOOD thing that Trump and MAGAs are restoring basic American values, traditions, customs, policies that made this the greatest nation on Earth. I will speak out strongly against anybody who opposes that.

It is a GOOD thing that Japan may give up their leftist mentality, yet again, and restore their values and policies that made them the economic empire they have been.

My parents told me I'm 3/4 Scott/Irish....but my DNA says I have very little Irish.
It says I'm mostly English, Scottish, German, Norwegian, Danish, Irish, and Italian.
Doesn't mean I can't understand Asian traditions or have similar beliefs.

Well the fact is we ALL have flaws that make us believe/conclude things that just aren't true, mostly because we want to believe they are true, and make us fight to defend them when our beliefs/conclusions are challenged.

Hard to say whether Elon was sucked in by irresponsible media reports that the BBB would add trillions to the debt--I'm pretty sure it will lower the debt--or whether he was angry that subsidies for Tesla would be ended. I had trusted him to be one of the good guys. I want him to deserve that trust.
