Election day is election day not week or month or whatever

I was referring to voting procedures not form of government.
France has a two round voting system for President.
IN Switzerland there is postal voting, in person, and electronic voting. You do not register to vote as they already have your information (those tricksy Swiss!).

Edit: This is an interesting topic!
Both Australia and New Zealand have early voting. Same for Ireland, Finland, and Norway. Sweden does not require registration and you can vote early.

My way of saying up yours to the deep state. Though it does look like the GOP is paying closer attention this time but I am not holding my breath on this being a straight up election.

I don't know why you'd waste your time participating in something that you've already lost.

I mean really. That is why you’re upset. Your blob lost. Nothing more than that. NO proof of any widespread fraud exists anywhere.

Why don’t you just admit that the results of the upcoming election will determine if you think it was fair or not. If Trump loses, you’ll say it was rigged. If he wins, you’ll say it was not. Stop pretending that you have some standards beyond that.

MAGA has no standards and they have no shame in displaying that routinely.

Meaning you just don't walk in and vote, there are safe guards and validation unlike the demrats here in the US.

In Sweden you can just walk in and vote.
If early voting is good enough for Florida and Texas, whats your issue? Should not be able to vote early in North Carolina to insure voting, given the more difficult road conditions? What about Alaska or Kentucky? What about the Dakotas and Montana where the snow may be measured in yards, not inches?

2020 was the one election I questioned you daffy dimbulb GOP poll watchers being denied access in GA and PA. tapes of dems pulling suitcases of ballots from under tables.

Go spit in the wind.
Take that to court fuckup.

It proves nothing from a stupid fuckup with whiny shit pants.

That was legally adjudicated. I believe poll watchers in GA now own Giuliani's homes as a result.

Voting is for election day or apply for an absentee ballot like to be due in prior to election day except for military and overseas ballots. Worked fine for years. Had issues from time to time sure but it worked well. Now we have this mess and I don't what state you are referring to with this mess.

What mess? I am a Texan. The two weeks of early voting, ID to vote, and mail in voting with reason if out of town work great. I have never had an issue. I have only voted on election day once, and it was a massive hassle - hence early voting thereafter.
IN the current system we usually use machines to vote which print out the choices made. Our ID is checked and we sign electronically when we get out paper ballot, which then is inserted and the election choices are printed out. Those paper ballots are saved for recount purposes if needed.

Previously I used the hole punch method - beware the hanging chad!. Was not a fan.

Early voting, combined with mail-in voting renders Election Day moot. Moreover, when paired with ‘drop-off boxes’ and the Democrats’ “No I.D. needed” scam, the declared result is virtually guaranteed to be controversial. For good reason.

To be valid, elections must be conducted in person on one day -- with paper ballots that are counted the same day, like they are in nearly every other legitimate democracy and republic on earth.

With the votes cast early and by mail-in ballots, it is as if the first three quarters of the Super Bowl were played in the weeks before the ‘actual’ event -- with just the fourth quarter played on Super Bowl Sunday.

And then, of course, whatever the score happens to be at the ‘end’ of the game, the final result wouldn't be announced until days -- or perhaps weeks -- later… after some necessary, completely unbiased and trustworthy behind the scenes analysis to make sure the ‘correct’ outcome is achieved.

Naturally, in true Democrat party fashion, the winner of the game -- and the attendant media -- would then declare this Super Bowl the “most fair and transparent” in history, and the final score to be “the most certain and accurate” in the annals of the game.

Moral of the story? If Americans’ votes are to truly mean something, one side cannot be allowed to set the parameters and make all the rules. If Republicans really wish to compete and win, they cannot sit idly by as their political opponents call the shots -- and the penalties. And, alone, conduct the ‘further reviews.’ The playing field must be leveled if it is to be ‘fair’ and ‘equitable,’ two things that Democrats claim to love. Of course, this is just as preposterous as their claim that they want to ‘save our democracy.’ Democrats don’t give a donkey’s ass about fairness, equity, or democracy. The only thing they care about is power.

And that is why they will do anything to win. And many on the GOP side of the uniparty are the same way.

It is up to the rest of us to make certain the playing field is a fair one
I am against early voting because you theoretically want to make the most informed decision possible. Anyone who votes early doesn't really care about making an informed decision because their minds are already made up and they ain't a changen em.

That's just stupid.

NO!!! A country the size of the U.S. should NOT and CANNOT get every American to the polls in day. We should make Election Day a National Day.

Start opening the Polls a Week before Election Day, 8-Hours during the week days and 12-Hours Saturday, Sunday and the Monday before Election Day and Election Day. Countries like Kenya and Israel do NOT try to vote in one day, we should be doing the same thing.

OK. So, what would it take to get you to hold your breath, or at least to quit spouting such crazy shit?
