Does anyone believe that these cops handled this situation appropriately? Should they have been terminated for their actions? Do the other members who resigned have good reason to do so?

they should be already be in jail pending trail. The people that resigned to support them should be fired. All those good cops again.

The police answered his question and he was obviously impeding their movement. Would you have preferred they arrested him for obstruction? They would have been within their right. This is what happens when you stand in front of a QRF.
