Ego much? Obama talked about himself nearly four times as often as Trump in first SOTU speech
President Obama’s first State of the Union speech in 2010 featured the president saying some version of “I” or “me” nearly 100 times.
That was nearly four times more than Trump managed -- 98 personal references to a mere 26.

For all the media have attacked Trump about his ego, it was Obama who earned regular criticism for being self-referential in his speeches. His first 41 speeches showed this tendency was off the charts -- mentioning himself nearly 1,200 times – 1,198 to be exact.

But what would one expect of Obama when he told people upon his nomination
the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”
Is Barack Obama the Messiah?: "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal ..."

Trump wants to make America great, even if it costs him some.

Obama wants to make him and his cronies rich, at the expense of Americans.

Obama is a clown who had not achieved any real success in life before going on the public dole. Trump is a multi billionaire with his own jet, helicopters, golf courses, the contrast is staggering.

Has nothing to do with politics, has everything to do with style..

Not surprised at all...
Like a rapper does in a rap song....”Look at me...I’m AWESOME!”
Haha...those crazy Nigerians...good is bad and bad is good.

Obama named the family dog Beau spelled "Bo." As in Barack Obama, the ****** named his dog after himself, now that's narcissism. Don't get me started on his binge of taking selfies.

I thank God every single day that Obabble The Won is no longer President-Emperor Wannabe of the United States.

At least when Barry walked Bo he'd clean up after him if he took a big Hillary out on the south lawn.

Ego much?

Well...let's look beyond Faux News...comparing by lumping speeches in this way is a bit dishonest - Obama made many more speeches and, they were longer than Trumps. Trump has made very few since he's only been in office a year.

Let's look at Inaugural Speeches...

In his 2009 Inaugural Speech, Obama used the words:
“I” - 3 times
"We" - over 60 times
"Me" "I've" and "I'm" - 0 times
Speech was 2395 words.

In his 2013 Inaugural Speech, Obama used the words:
“I”- 2 times
"We" over 60 times
“Me” “I’ve” and “I’m” - 0 times
Speech was 2096 words.

In Trump's Inaugural Speech he used:
“I” - 3 times
“Me” “I’ve,” or “I'm” - 0 times
“we” - 46 times.
Speech was 1433 words.

Now...let's examine State of the Union speeches.
Obama's first SOTU Address in 2010 was 7034 words.
"I" 105 times
"me" 11 times
"my" 9 times
"we" 125 times

Trump's first SOTU Address in 2018 was 5830 words.
"I" 31 times
"me" once
"my" 10 times
"we" 88 times

Now...here's where these counts can get dishonest because use of those words doesn't necessarily mean the speaker is referring to himself in an egotistical way, for example:

And I know that with all the lobbying and horse-trading, this process left most Americans wondering, "What's in it for me?"

Tonight, I am calling on the Congress to produce a bill that generates at least $1.5 trillion for the new infrastructure investment we need.

People are out of work. They're hurting. They need our help. And I want a jobs bill on my desk without delay.

I want our youth to grow up to achieve great things. I want our poor to have their chance to rise.

And if the bill that ends up on my desk does not meet the test of real reform, I will send it back until we get it right. We've got to get it right
.

Now speaking of ego...what do you think of a president clapping for himself in the microphone

And another interesting twist...Trump and Obama have one surprising thing in common – the words they use
