Egg situation getting worse.

Here is another way Trump reminds me of Hitler. Hitler tried to do too much too fast. If he would have just slowed down and not bitten off more than he could chew.

What is Trump doing? Picking a fight with Europe, Mexico, Canada and China. So who are our trading partners now? Russia and North Korea? LOL. Saudi Arabia and Israel? Poland?
This thread is about the price of eggs, which even I will agree is more important then the feelings of some Liberals across the northern border.

Trump bought his brand new 1st generation Tesla roadster a lot more than 3 months ago.
He never drove the Roadster. He bought it for his car collection.

Trump at a rally in 2023 on EVs: "They don't go far. They cost a fortune. You're in the middle of the desert, and you say, 'You know what, we're running low on electric. Do they have a charger around anywhere?'"

A month later at another rally: "Where are you going? 'I'm going to Massachusetts.' Well, you better get yourself a gas turbine because this car is not going to get you there. Well, you could, if you stop about four times."

Gas turbine?

And his golf carts are electric too⚡
All golf carts are electric. Always have been.

Presidents can't raise/lower prices for fuel and consumer goods. When we realize that, promises don't mean shit. So, when the promise isn't kept, magaturds simply move on to the next manufactured crisis.
Trump said he could and would. He also blamed Biden for gas prices. What changed?

The main topic before the election was how Bidenflation destroyed the great US economy and was hurting the poor and middle class. Eggs were just one of the food staples that the Democrats purposefully made less affordable.

The entire Democratic party being caught gaslighting the country about Biden's cognitive decline was a close second.
Liar.

No, high food prices, high gas prices, high inflation, and illegal aliens raping and murdering American women were the main points of discussion before the election

"Trump says eggs are $5 under Kamala -"

"Trump’s Truth Social post comes after JD Vance claimed eggs are $4 in front of display selling them for $2.99"

Trump made it about eggs.

"Trump promised to bring down egg prices on day one. Now, he’s sharing articles telling people to ‘shut up’ about it"

Yep, he said he'd bring them down on "day one", just like he'd end the Ukraine war on "day one" of his presidency.

More bullshit lying from Trump to get elected no matter what.

Now he doesn't want people to talk about it.

Eggs US decreased 0.91 USD/DOZEN or 15.71% since the beginning of 2025, according to trading on a contract for difference (CFD) that tracks the benchmark market for this commodity. Historically, Eggs US reached an all time high of 8.17 in March of 2025. source: USDA

Eggs were the main point of discussion before the election. Trump promised to greatly reduce the price immediately if elected. Instead of a reduction, we got a spike in price that doesn't show signs of dropping any time soon. Added to the trump price increase, the quality has dropped as well. Thanks Trump.
MSN
so you're now concerned with the price of Groceries? When all through Biden Regime you never noticed a thing?

We're okay with how things are going...so are the majority of Americans. It takes a while to set things right from the destruction of the last 4 years...and we're willing to take a little discomfort if the long term is going to be positive. Biden's four years shows just how fast destruction can take hold if you work at it...and hardly work at that.

No, stats NEVER speak for themselves.

What has you so confused?

What has you so confused?

No confused at all.

The price has decreased by 15% which means what? A 15% decrease could still mean they're more expensive than a month ago, or when Trump got into office. He said he'd bring egg prices down, meaning, down to a level they were at before. 15% price decrease isn't that.

And I went looking at the article and clicked on something and it came up with a different article.

"Egg prices are finally falling. But they’re about to spike again"

"But in the first week of March, prices for wholesale loose eggs fell by $1.20, averaging about $6.85 a dozen nationally, down 15% from the week before, "

So, egg prices were at $6.85 for 12.

Trump was complaining the egg prices were $5 a dozen under Kamala, and wanted prices down to like $3 for a dozen on DAY ONE. Vance complained they were $4 a dozen standing in front a sign saying "$2.99"

So, a 15% decrease from a week before, is still much higher than when Trump said they were too high and he'd get the prices down.

You see why stats don't talk for themselves?
