Michael Strahan's ex Nicole Murphy reportedly pulled the plug on their seven-year relationship because the famous footballer was unfaithful, according to TMZ.

Murphy, 46, apparently found out about her boyfriend's indiscretions last month and began snooping, the gossip site reported.

She allegedly got the "proof" she needed last week and decided to go public with their split.

Murphy's rep confirmed the break-up news to People Magazine on Friday, one day ahead of Strahan's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Sources told TMZ her timing was merely a coincidence as it was when she learned for sure of his alleged infidelity.

While Murphy alleges that Strahan cheated on her, TMZ has photos of the model vacationing in the Caribbean with former NBA player Jim Jackson. According to the site, the photos the pair were taken at the Dorado Beach Ritz-Carlton in Puerto Rico, where they stayed from July 7 to July 10.

The photos show the two sitting very close together at a cabana at the resort. In one picture, a man’s hand can be spotted on Murphy’s knee.

TMZ reports that Strahan knew of his then-fiancée’s getaway, but thought she had gone on vacation with girlfriends, where she ran into to Jackson. The site adds that Murphy is now claiming that she and Strahan were “on a break” during the time she spotted with Jackson.

A separate source revealed the pair had parted ways weeks ago and they have been on-and-off since his began hosting "Live with Kelly and Michael" and "Good Morning America" in New York while Murphy was in Los Angeles working on her VH1 reality show "Hollywood Exes."

"They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship," a rep for the New York Giants star told People in a statement.

Strahan, 42, and Murphy started dating in 2007 and became engaged in 2009.

"I have a great relationship and she's a great girl," Strahan said at the time. "I don't like to talk much about my private life, but I'm really happy."
