Early Voting Begins Today for Virginia Redistricting Referendum

Early voting is set to begin Friday across Virginia for an April 21 statewide referendum that could allow the General Assembly to redraw the state’s congressional districts ahead of this fall’s midterm elections. If voters approve, the move would likely reshape the current 6–5 partisan split in Virginia’s delegation into a map favoring Democrats in as many as 10 of the state’s 11 districts.

Any Virginia voters here should get out and vote against it.....Please bring friends.....I plan to.

Hey 1srelluc, I think this is for you.

They say the vile dems have dropped 50 million into the effort. Mostly "dark money".

In U.S. politics, dark money is spending aimed at influencing elections, public policy, or political discourse where the identity of the donors is not publicly disclosed. This often involves nonprofit organizations, particularly 501(c)(4) social welfare groups, which can receive unlimited contributions from corporations, unions, and individuals without revealing their sources. Dark money can also flow through opaque nonprofits or shell companies to super PACs, which are legally required to disclose donors but may not know the original source of the funds, effectively making them dark money outlets.

You can't open a You Tube video in Virginia without seeing The Halfrican's ugly mug.

TX would be the last "free state" I'd ever move to.....I'd go to WV or OK first.
Good. No one will ever have to see you in those shithole states. :)

It's pretty much 50-50 the last I heard. Then again polling here is about like pulling teeth.

Blah, if it's close NOtVA will dick around with the reporting and find the votes to get it over the line for the dems.
Funny how both CA and VA had Constitutional Amendments to prevent this very thing and the Democrats are saying - 'well the voters weren't really serious about that'

You are unbelievably stupid and dishonest.

Everyone knows that Texas started the current redistricting fight last year. CA, IL, and VA are responding to what Texas did.

You are so wrong it’s funny. Doubling down on stupid is a trait all leftists posses.

Only 30% of the vote in Fairfax County has been counted in Virginia and YES is getting 72% of the vote. I think it will pass.

Already a 50,000 vote lead for YES in Fairfax County next to DC. It should pass.

if the new congressional map for the state more closely reflects how the people are voting, then it can't possibly be a bad thing, right?
