Post over 1-1/2 years old. Doctors are really touchy about that “duty to warn” business.
Do a general Google search on “duty to warn” --- you will find psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, counselors, and other mental health workers justifying the slander of their involuntary patients' names and the destruction of their lives through libel by some supposedly ethical “duty to warn” the community of dangerous, psychotic, violent, mentally ill patients --- mainly to justify stringent gun control, employment, and criminal trespass policies.
