So now we have a dust storm in the springtime in South Dakota. Of course there's no climate change. Right, keep believing that. When the Midwest turns into a dust bowl, as it did once before because of man's hand, this time it's not going away. The root cause isn't man's careless conservation measures, it's the change in precipitation patterns. No different than the changes taking place in sub-Saharan Africa which is going to cost millions of lives. The whole region is drying out. Climate change needed to be addressed 50 years ago. Now it's too late to prevent most of the disasters that are going to befall this world.

Yep, imagine that, a weather front in the Spring. OMG. :smoke:

Of course there's no climate change. Right, keep believing that.
Sure. The climate is changing all the time, been doing that since climate was invented billions of years ago.

You betcha. No one had ever even heard of the words climate change in 1972.

Now it's too late to prevent most of the disasters that are going to befall this world.
All the more reason not to worry about it and just be happy! :happy-1:

You are being ridiculous if you can't read the writing on the wall. This is been building up for a long time now. I've never seen a spring this dry, the ground is dust. At least we're not as bad off as the west coast is already. But there's no doubt that things are getting worse. And once again climate change isn't about the immediate future it's about what is occurring over decades. And there's no denying it now.

It is a powerful Midwest storm with 100 mph winds.

Weekly Palmer Drought Indices shows it isn't a that big a deal.

I guess you never heard of the Dust Bowl of the 1930s.

it's amazing what a La Niña flow aloft does to regional climates..

It is the sun's fault and there is nothing you can do to change it. As in nothing. All the money that we are begging the UN to take from our paychecks, all the restrictions we have placed in the name of climate change and we haven't lowered the temp. one degree in the twenty years they have been robbing us and telling us it was all our fault. It is not.
The Sun's effect on us depends on which cycle it is in. Solar Maximum cycle heats the earth up. Solar Minimum cools us down. There is no carbon foot print, or lack there of that makes any difference.

This doesn't heat up the earth, and neither do you.

Here is a tip from the UN member that disperses the money we throw at him:
"Free yourself from the illusion that climate change has anything to do with the environment. It is, in reality, the way we redistribute the world's wealth."
^Out of your pocket into anyone's with a hand out. And you embrace the notion...
