I was in charge of security, so I had to check all calculators before the test and then walked around the tables for about three hours, making sure no one was cheating. Packing up the test materials afterward was actually something constructive. Our guidance counselors were the primary administrators, and they wanted me because I had been a testing coordinator as a teacher and then as an AP for my high school which was 3 times larger than the current rural school where I was.The only real activity is explaining the instructions in Spanish and writing passes to the restroom now and then. Because our school is almost 70% non-native English speaking now, the whole ESL department gets called up almost all the time.
