Wow...are they going to close golf courses? Doubtful.

That will only happen when the choice is to shut them down or create a mass exodus of citizens who struggle with minimum requirements for potable water. With the ongoing drought, that day probably isn't far away. I went out there for a continuing education seminar in MRI about 20 years ago and even then they were giving tax breaks to people who chose to have hardscapes rather than even small lawns.

There was a drought in the middle of the desert? No fucking way! Droughts never happen in the desert, they only happen in soggy rainforests.

Watch and see that they are going to have property owners to use their GMO grass since it doesn't grows taller like the conventional grass, that it will use less water liked the way their stunted growth GMO alfalfa plants. But it can be watered- down with that cancer causing chemical Round Up without dying.
But pretty soon, there will be no need to eat Grass-Fed cattle to stay away from GMO contaminated products. it's because this grass can crossed breed with other conventional grass. and then we will all have midget grass and but not enough hay to feed the Grass-Fed cattle with because their growth will be stunted by the crossed-breeding of these GMO grass.
