Driving a moped

if I died, that's a murder charge.
50 to life, bare bones minimum.
Then they can sleep on a slab of granite for so long, the pattern will turn into a tattoo on their back, before they get out.
lol
:)
How do you know it will not be your fault?

Your commentary would be hilarious if it were not so pathetic!

I got my motorcycle license last Friday and I bought a Yamaha Xmax 292cc Scooter today and then I went to the DMV and registered it and I got insurance on it.
One of the people here where I live told me to be careful because people around here could hit me.

I said that if anybody hits me, first they're going to jail because i'm pressing charges and then I'm suing them and their insurance company..
so its they who better be careful, because I show their new hampshire ass that their license doesn't say "drive however the hell you want once the trooper gets out and says you passed".

Secondly, my scooter goes up to about 85 mph, that's more than fast enough for any traffic.

She said... "holy shit"... I replied... yeah, holy shit, I actually have rights, holy shit... new hampshire really did go to the dogs...
lol
You need to rethink your attitude. Riding a motorcycle of ANY description is dangerous. Cagers (auto drivers) have a problem seeing motorcycles and when they hit a motorcyclist, the first thing they usually say is "Where did he come from, I never saw him". Riding a sub-thousand-pound machine surrounded by multiple thousand-pound machines requires YOU to be a defensive driver. In any collision, YOU will be the loser regardless of fault. Plus, you can't prefer charges since an auto accident is almost always not a crime but is an infraction. Riding in the open air is fun, but your safety is on you, not other drivers. Your attitude will get you killed.

Well said.

Why not just buy a real motorcycle instead of a scooter?
He could have bought a XT250 for a grand less, that gets about the same mileage, is lighter and is more flexible being an on/off road bike. The only disadvantage is that he would have to do his own gear changing.

Scooters have smaller wheels=less centrifugal force keeping one upright.

You can dump one in a hurry, and I have. Why don't scooters have bigger wheels?

Bigger thinner wheels would make it roll down the road easier, too. Hmm..hehe.

I think my motorized 2-wheeled days are over.

Thanks. I ride a Can AM Spyder that is more visible than a normal two-wheeler, but I've had near misses because cars didn't see me.
That's why most motorcyclists have a very loud engine, so they can be seen AND heard.

I looked on cycletrader.com, and the cheapest Xmax I saw was $4,500. For someone who hates working, is unemployed, and waiting for gov't housing, you spent some dollars.

But for someone just spinning bullshit yarns online, it's not bad.

I don't believe he is real. But that never stopped me from messing with someone here.

I don't find that a disadvantage as I prefer standard transmissions
