Scooters are inexpensive to operate. They are easy to park and handle. They make really nice short errand vehicles.

A buddy of mine who is interested all kinds of bikes, and had 3, plus a scooter; used the scooter to deliver pizzas. Said it was the best vehicle for the job...

I would never even think of buying a scooter, no matter how much fun or how bad I would want to.
I have a brain. And that brain is very interested in living as long as I can. Not get maimed or killed by some one texting while driving.
I have been involved one major, and one minor accident in my life. If I was on a moped/motorcycle either time I would absolutely be dead by now.
The first death would have been age 15.
The 2nd time I would have died would have been 4 years ago.

America is not a country to ride a moped. Too many people not paying attention when they are driving.

I have every right to drive it as long as I have my driving privileges and don't break the law with it.
