There is continental drift also. And the real issue of global climate change is if humans are causing it. Why if everyone of self-importance in power knows we are, do we still build on barrier islands and flood plains? Why do many politicians continue to own property on the same? A railroad that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration built along the beach in the 1960s began being routinely covered by waves during storms. Meanwhile, dunes were leveled that once protected Kennedy Space Center, no matter how high the tide.
Scientists from the University of Florida and the U.S. Geological Survey began studying the problem in 2009, finding that what was going on could not be explained by typical Florida beach erosion. This was climate change at work, with a warmer ocean expanding beyond its old bounds....

Correct. It establishes that the planet is in a warming phase and you can't just assume the recent warming is due to CO2.

You never explained anything at all. I am asking you why the earth's climate fluctuated prior to industrialization. You can't deny it fluctuated and you can't say it was CO2 so what will you say caused it? It has to be something, right?
Are you assuming that whatever it was that caused the earth's climate to fluctuate prior to the industrial revolution stopped because of CO2?
