I agree with you about the blaming, shaming and dehumanizing language. I hate Trump's attitude toward immigration; no one can tell by looking at a person on the street if they are "legal," so this epic bullshit about the "invasion" of "rapists, criminals, MS-13 members, yada yada" is a slam to all foreign born residents. The fact is, though, that Hitler was turning on his own Jewish citizens. Trump is legally detaining people who have broken the law by entering illegally. They are not only not citizens, they are not supposed to be here.
If they are released to await an overburdened court system's hearing, there is a substantial risk that they will "disappear" into the fabric of the country and never be found. They have no documentation, so they can only be hired illegally. Else, how do they survive? In your country, you have told us the government does not tolerate employers hiring illegals. In our country, that needs to stop too. Of course there is going to be a lot of kicking and screaming about it, but comparing our administration's efforts to Nazi's genocide?
