The premise was literally true. Trump did indeed say those things about people who were black, journalists and DAs.

I think the point was very much about the fact that he used that kind of demeaning rhetoric about people they share community with.

So um, if Trump said something bad about folks who were white then it would be appropriate to ask why would white people vote for him?

Yes, it was literally true but implied something that was completely false. That’s called spin.

It’s been may seem harmless, but it takes advantage of low information voters.

Harris Faulkner is as dark skinned as any of the other black journalist there. Yet she opposes the political prosecution of Donald Trump. So you just stereotyped her and should probably write her an email of apology. And ABC apologize for deliberately, giving her a bad microphone.
