I'm no fan of the Taliban, but they did not facilitate terrorism. In fact, they told UBL not to attack the US. We went into Afghanistan because they said no to our pipeline. 5 weeks before 9/11, we told them, "If you don't accept our carpet of gold, we will bury you under a carpet of bombs."Oh for the love of God - remove the tinfoil hat you Alex Jones nutcase. Jews and Russia had nothing to do with 9/11. In fact, Russia called us and offered their full support in the wake of 9/11. Afghanistan was completely and entirely about terrorism you conspiracy nitwit. And while I agree with you that we should have nuked the shit out of them, the belief that we should have "bypassed" the Taliban (which facilitated terrorism) is almost as idiotic as the belief that any of it had to do with Russia and Jews.
Believe whatever you want, but its true.Bullshit.
That has nothing to do with what I said.Think With Your Brains, Not With Your Knees
That's what you're told to think, as you genuflect before your guru and receive his talking points.

Here you go...The Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 is a United States Congressional statement of policy stating that "It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq..."[1][2] It was signed into law by President Bill Clinton, and states that it is the policy of the United States to support democratic movements within Iraq. The Act was cited in October 2002 to argue for the authorization of military force against the Iraqi government.
The bill was sponsored by Representative Benjamin A. Gilman (Republican, NY-20) and co-sponsored by Representative Christopher Cox (Republican, CA-47). The bill was introduced as H.R. 4655 on September 29, 1998. The House of Representatives passed the bill 360 - 38 on October 5, and the Senate passed it with unanimous consent two days later. President Clinton signed the Iraq Liberation Act into law on October 31, 1998.[3][4]

Here's my source that says regime change is okay.
Why don't you quote the exact portion of the UN Charter that says it's illegal. Thanks!

Which means there are only two legal ways one country can attack another, 1) if you are attacked by a significant force or, 2) you get UNSC authorization. We had neither.
Article 51
Nothing in the present Charter shall impair the inherent right of individual or collective self-defence if an armed attack occurs against a Member of the United Nations, until the Security Council has taken measures necessary to maintain international peace and security. Measures taken by Members in the exercise of this right of self-defence shall be immediately reported to the Security Council and shall not in any way affect the authority and responsibility of the Security Council under the present Charter to take at any time such action as it deems necessary in order to maintain or restore international peace and security.
In addition, since this was a ratified treaty, it carry's the same weight as the Constitution, which supersedes that un-Constitutional Liberation Act.
In the Presidency of Donald Trump, we are watching the total destruction of this country. From American values, to our rule of law, common decency and honesty, truth, our democratic principles, all are being dismantled in front of our very eyes.
There are parallels between what Trump is doing to our republic and what Caligula did to Rome.
Caligula wanted to rule as an autocrat and he was contemptuous of the pretense that the senate had any power at all. From Tweets about bogus wiretapping to business ventures with Iran's Republican Guard, Donald Trump is destroying this country from within.
“What he did was to trample the dignity of the senatorial elite into the dirt and what he discovered in doing that was that the mass of the Roman people really enjoyed it.”What Trump has done to the Republican establishment.
“Trump has said and done things that are utterly shocking by the standards of traditional political morality, but far from making him unpopular with the masses there is a sense in which he has become the toast of the people.”
We are the laughing stock of the world!
You need to get your game up if you want to respond to my posts.Alt this is typical liberal spam, tbh. Seen this a thousand times before.
If you can't tell how wrong it is to attack someone that hadn't attacked you first, then you got serious mental issues. Here's a thought, why don't you get up from your computer, walk outside, go up to the first person you see on the street and pop them in the mouth as hard as you can, then come back and tell us how it went?In addition, since this was a ratified treaty, it carry's the same weight as the Constitution
What do you mean? With a simple majority vote, Congress can withdraw from a treaty. Or invade a foreign nation. Neither act is unconstitutional.

Well, gosh, what's the punishment for following our law, instead of UN law?

Congress didn't withdraw from that treaty, which made it "our" law, not just the UN's. Furthermore, true American's believe in the rule of law, not some rules of law.
So you believed what Nixon said, "When the President does it, its not illegal".Congress didn't withdraw from that treaty, which made it "our" law, not just the UN's.
That law doesn't stop Congress and the President from taking military action if they wish.
Or even, back to your original claim.....regime change.
The insanity that taints your perverted sense of reality continues to amaze me.So you believed what Nixon said, "When the President does it, its not illegal".Congress didn't withdraw from that treaty, which made it "our" law, not just the UN's.

So when the President and Congress decide to murder over a million people (that did nothing to us), that's not illegal? When the President and Congress decide to give corporations more rights than American citizens, that's not illegal? When the President and Congress decide to indefinitely detain American citizens without charges and no due process of law, that's not illegal?
So what you're saying is might makes right? That's the language of a totalitarian, not someone who embraces American values.
What do you know about reality? The insanity that taints your perverted sense of reality continues to amaze me.
Employing the term "murder" in that case is the language of totalitarianism, and indeed stupidity. So when the President and Congress decide to murder over a million people (that did nothing to us), that's not illegal? I know enough about reality to know a country full of goat herders, with barely any running water or electricity, 9000 miles away with no navy, is not a threat to a country with the most technologically advanced military the world has ever seen.Employing the term "murder" in that case is the language of totalitarianism, and indeed stupidity.

Who would thought goat herders would bring down the World Trade Center, use poison gas on their fellow Muslims, murder 50 gays in a night club more locally and so on?I know enough about reality to know a country full of goat herders, with barely any running water or electricity, 9000 miles away with no navy, is not a threat to a country with the most technologically advanced military the world has ever seen.Employing the term "murder" in that case is the language of totalitarianism, and indeed stupidity.

I know enough about reality not to call torture enhanced interrogation.
I know enough about reality to when when someone is trying to bullshit me.
And Trump (and the right), are trying to bullshit me.
Hey dumbass, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.Who would thought goat herders would bring down the World Trade Center,
Iran.use poison gas on their fellow Muslims,
Have you heard about the new gay sitcom?murder 50 gays in a night club more locally and so on?
Wow, you're really in to mens' butts?I don't care what kind of shit hole you came from any more than the shit hole you live in, and neither does Trump (well, maybe since the shit hole you live in is likely in the US).
Saudis aren't goat herders?!Hey dumbass, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.Who would thought goat herders would bring down the World Trade Center,
