President Trump had a victory in his ongoing legal battle against the Pulitzer Prize Board on Monday when presiding Judge Robert L. Pegg rejected a Protective Order Governing Discovery motion that would have guarded the board's internal communications.

Newsweek contacted Trump's attorney Quincy Bird for comment via online inquiry form on the website of the legal firm that employs him, Weber, Crabb & Wein.

Trump filed a lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize Board in 2022 after it awarded its 2018 National Reporting Prize to The New York Times and The Washington Post in response to their reporting on alleged Russian intervention in the 2016 presidential election.

The lawsuit claimed the publications peddled a "now-debunked theory" alleging collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia, and demanded the 2018 prize be withdrawn by the Pulitzer Prize Board and a full apology issued.

WOW! Looks like Trump will dismantle the MSM single-handedly.

The MSM should not be allowed to get away with past misdeeds as they came at the expense of the public they are supposed to serve.

He's also following the law.

journalism is longer journalism. Sit behind a computer screen all day. And when they do get off their fat asses they are looking on their cell phones This is an era i am glad I didn't grow up in.
You'll find more truth in an HG Wells novel than what the media puts out today. And like an addiction they just can't

So what?

It still deserves discussion.

Yes and the legal win is meaningless until the trial. There are only two possibilities that can be taken from this.

They were hiding something
or
They didn't want him to see their private conversations.

Until the trial happens no one will know what this legal win means.
