The West Point awards ceremony was supposed to take place Sept. 25. Hanks was to be honored as an “outstanding citizen” outside of the West Point organization with a history of social service that exemplifies “Duty, Honor, Country,” the academy’s three core ideals. What makes Tom such an outstanding citizen? Is it because he got insanely wealthy making movies or the fact that he is a left wing cook who got insanely wealthy making movies.

My grandfather dropped out of school to enlist in the US Navy, he and a few others. They never graduated high school and a few years the school board that absorbed their high school awarded them high school diplomas. Sadly none of them lived to see it
