I attended my niece's wedding last summer. It was beautiful, but my wife and I being there did not draw all attention away from the happy couple. The president being at a small wedding would involve a massive secret service presence of most likely more people than those in attendance. Considering all the attempts on his life, security would need to be heavy and disruptive. Then consider the inevitable media hordes that would overwhelm the wedding (and not care).
