What do you mean he "stopped" working. He spent every day until noon watching TV and tweeting, and his work day ended at 6:00. He spent Friday travelling to one of his clubs for the weekend, and didn't come back until Monday. At best he was a part time President, and at worst, he was utterly negligent in the execution of a job he now demands that you let him keep.

Yet he still managed to be the best POTUS since Andrew Jackson. Mostly by doing as little as possible.. which is exactly what I want a Federal Government TO do.
