Xi-Putin Meeting Marks Tectonic Geopolitical Shift Which West Not Ready for
The meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Moscow is due to usher in dramatic geopolitical changes, shifting the focus from unilateral hegemony to a more cooperative, equal and democratic...sputniknews.com
Or is it too soon to make that claim?
They both want to end the era of US geopolitical dominance, and what's not reported nearly enough is that they have sympathizers, even among our so-called "allies". OPEC, most of Africa, much of Latin America, and India, while not endorsing Russia's invasion of Ukraine, aren't interested in sanctioning Russia, and they actually - mildly to strongly - resent what they regard as Western/US hypocrisy and grand-standing.
I say this as someone who wholly supports what we're doing in Ukraine, but living outside the US for several years, I understand how the rest of the world sees us, and it's not like how we portray ourselves in the Hollywood movies.
