Does Scripture Support Liberalism?

'Cause everyone knows He upset the moneychangers and the clergy of the day for personal reasons...

The problem with trying to twist examples to fit your POV is that other people are usually better at it. He did it because they were using the government to force people to give to them instead of giving to the poor.

I don't remember scripture encouraging lying, greed, slavery and pride of oneself over God

tapatalk post

I don't remember anyone saying it did.

Of course avatar cannot demonstrate that the government is taking money by force which is why he is not "speaking the truth".

I was unaware that you had no clue of all those people who have been thrown in jail for failure to pay taxes or their putting liens on property or garnishing wages.

I foolishly thought you were informed. So sue me.

Failure to obey the law is why they have been jailed after due process. There is no force involved unless they choose to resist. There is no force involved in liens and garnishing either. Thank you for tacitly admitting that you cannot substantiate your lie about about taxes being theft.

It is impossible to resist something that does not exist.

So you are seriously going to concede that government takes by force taxes that arent freely given and yet at the same time pretend as though no force exists.

I hate to break this to you, but when you concede my point, I am not lying.

Since you have failed to demonstrate that taxes are "taken by force" that equates to lying on your part.

Facing an increasingly out-of-control federal government in Washington, D.C., record numbers of Americans are giving up their U.S. citizenship in an effort to escape onerous requirements enforced by the IRS — which apply no matter where in the world a citizen lives. Because the IRS requirements have already become so bad, a growing number of banks around the world are refusing to even accept American customers in an effort to avoid U.S. government bullying and mountains of regulations.

Amid IRS Abuse, Record Number of Americans Give Up U.S. Citizenship

The IRS has on more than one occasion been accused of abusive behavior.[41][42][43][44] Testimony was given before a Senate subcommittee that focused on cases of overly aggressive IRS collection tactics in considering a need for legislation to give taxpayers greater protection in disputes with the agency.

Congress passed the Taxpayer Bill of Rights III on July 22, 1998, which shifted the burden of proof from the taxpayer to the IRS in certain limited situations. The IRS retains the legal authority to enforce liens and seize assets without obtaining judgment in court.[45]

Apparently you have never heard stories of the IRS shaking down companies.

Your extreme right wing red meat source lacks credibility. A tiny handful of people give up their green cards/citizenship on a regular basis. The ability of the IRS to collect taxes owed from corporations that break the law is no different to what it has been for decades now.

We over-report and we use an accountant and a computer and the IRS sometimes still corrects our figures so they short change us in our returns even though we have tax forms from our employers.

Lets say you are a hair stylist. The IRS has an idea of how much people are going to tip you and if your figure doesn't match their figure, they audit you. Your customer pays you three dollars instead of a five dollar tip because they aren't fully impressed at your work so the figure you claim is different than the national or regional average so the IRS wants the imaginary money that you have. Sound fair?

Since when did the IRS ever seize a beauty salon over a discrepancy in the amount of tips claimed?

Suppose you are trying to run a business and they show up with a gun and take your filing cabinet and computers. How are you going to do work then?

Are you now claiming that the IRS is taking away your property at gunpoint?

Or is the truth that the IRS obtained a warrant based upon your failure to provide the IRS with the appropriate proof of earnings after the allotted time for doing so had expired?

They never do anything wrong? No courts are needed? No second opinions? They never overstep their authority? No one overdoes their job there? Shocking.

Stop defecting and answer the questions.
