Does CNN realize we are a Christian nation?

The United States of America never was and never will be a Christian nation. Thomas Jefferson is a witness from the founding generation. Those that could vote gave him a second term, knowing his opposition to Christianity.

Christ died on a cross and showed up alive and well 3 days later. Jefferson is still dead...

The great majority do not ascribe to your Christianity. You know that.
The great majority of Americans have their roots in European Judeo-Christian culture, traditions and mores. Close enough. :auiqs.jpg:

It is, therefore, accurate to describe us as a Secularized Christian Nation.

Nope. We are a generally a nation of so-called Christians governed by a secular Constitution.

"Secularized Christian Nation" is simply another (and fairly accurate) descriptor... you just don't much care for it... :itsok:

The God of "In God We Trust" is the God of European Judeo-Christian beliefs and philosophy and culture... sorry.

The scriptural book on which we swear in court and on which our officials swear their oaths is the Christian Bible... sorry.

In this country of ours, being a Christian is a good thing. In this country of ours, being a nationalist is a good thing. CNN tries to paint this as if it's a bad thing.

---White Christian nationalists are poised to remake America in their image during Trump’s second term---

You mean a "Christian" like Trump when he was raw dogging that porn star? Or did he just forgo his "Christian Family Values" when he did the nasty with her for 60 seconds? :abgg2q.jpg:

Founded and ruled by European Christians whose descendants continue to hold the majority vote in modern times...

When do you believe the United States of America was “founded” ?.

I would appreciate if you would answer that question because the date of the founding matters.

You did not answer my question

And when do you make the claim that. {Vast numbers of people do not regularly go to church or associate with branch A or B yet still identify as Christians... In that context, the United States was founded-by and sustained-by and continues to be ruled by a "Christian" majority...}

What polling or research tells you that we are ruled by a Christian majority today?

What polling or research tells you that we were ruled by a Christian majority in Thomas Jefferson’s Day knowing that Jefferson was more anti-Christian than any politician that runs for office today on the left or right.

Again, when do you think the United States was founded? Specific period of time,Please.

How on earth do you know whether or not the eight out of ten in 1776 who did not belong to a church “believed” on the matter of religion?

Trump is more anti-Christian than Jefferson
Trump is pro corrupted Christian - the Christianity of the upside down Jesus where cruelty is love.

The majority of Christians, i.e. in the black church and more than half of Catholics and many evangelicals, etc., are in the Liberal wing of the Christianity. They are not corrupt.

White Republican Christian nationalism is not a better half of Christianity

They are trying to destroy separation of church and state which is Trump means to authoritarianism

Trump is leading a bad faction of Christianity, who are “white Republican Christian nationalists” they are somewhere between 40 to 50 million strong and they vote. The Republican Party is nothing without them. Absolutely nothing.

Not really cuckoo...

Within the domain of those who identify as 'religious'...

We are, for all intents and purposes, a 'secularized Christian nation'...

Founded and ruled by European Christians whose descendants continue to hold the majority vote in modern times...

Close enough for Gubmint Work...
'secularized Christian nation'???

Many people who cae to North America were cultural christians and not very religious

The precedent for that is set upon universality of all religions. The Holy Scrioture ain’t so holy.

It would be good if the freak show below backed off of his Bible Worship while serving second in line to the freak show of a presidency

We need to put a Freemason, Universalist like Washington; Unitarian like Adams; Rational Theists like Madison and Jefferson or a Catholic like Biden before it’s to late
