No one should be put to death for expressing their beliefs and opinions. To do so is murder.

I have mocked the sudden departure of certain terrorists. (Hell. I even gave Obama credit for authorizing that incursion into another nation’s sovereign air space and land.).

There are some cases where I see the death penalty as appropriate — more for the protection of society than for “revenge” or for the purposes of general “deterrence.”

But the mocking of the death of a man for just being willing and able to engage in discussions and debate doesn’t strike me as being worthy of wanting the lowlife’s dead.
