Doctor in video promoted by Trump says: DNA from aliens is being used in medicine

It was a retrospective observational study, not exactly the gold standard.
This is not a game we are playing

people are dying and liberals are screaming to close down the economy

So the 5-10 year process for approving new drugs does not apply here

We're not waiting for a 5-10 year process for approving new drugs but we aren't going to get held up on drugs that don't work simply because Trump said so.
If the drug does not work for everyone it works for some

And thats driving liberals crazy with jealousy that trump picked up on it before they did

There's no evidence to support claiming it works for anyone. The medical community had picked it up before Trump said anything and were using it liberally. But the studies came up short and so it fell out of favor. If he hadn't been banging on about it constantly (with his typical hyperbolic nonsense), this would be uncontroversial, but he's got to go and stick his malignant personality where it doesn't belong.

It started falling out of favor after Trump mentioned it, however, I know doctors, even the ones claiming it doesn't work, are using it if they contract COVID because they know it can help and is not dangerous.

Nope. It fell out of favor in June when the NIH closed down the prospective trial because the analysis did not support its use. Nome if you noticed because the media didn’t cover it much.

You are talking about the trial where they claimed it did not harm but did not provide any benefits? That trial?

Yes, that trial. Kind of a big deal.

Well, efficacy aside, funny how they said what we knew all along. It is not dangerous when used in the dosages being given to COVID-19 patients and yet this is the narrative that was being pushed by the left. That information will be buried to keep the sheep sufficiently uninformed. As to it's efficacy as determine by some studies, follow the money.

Ah, so you chose to believe the part of the study you want to believe (safety) but ignore the part you don’t want to believe (efficacy).

How very scientific of you.

If so then you complaint is not with trump

he didnt do anything that your vaunted medical community didnt do

since everyone took an interest in the malaria drug as you freely admitted

however there are studies and testimony by doctors that it does help some people

Oh hell no. Trump has been overhyping the drug and going way beyond what any rational doctor would ever say. Trump was and is desperate for a miracle to bail him out of this mess and is willing to cling to anything regardless of the data.

The difference is that it didn’t pan out. The medical community knows this but Trump can not admit he was wrong. Never.

The doctor in a viral video tweeted by Donald Trump (discouraging mask use") is an interesting character:

"But then it came to light what a kook the good doctor seems to be, believing there is alien DNA in some medications. And that sleeping individuals have sex with demons. And that a vaccine is being developed to immunize people from religion."

Find the direct quote from her please.

i recommend watching all of it, as you used this woman as an authority to spread disinformation.

I have a feeling that this isn’t really about what she said or didn’t say but merely an attempt to eek out a “win” from this dumpster fire because most people aren’t willing to sit through that much nonsense and screaming to pick out time stamps as this poster demands.

But Hallelujah you did it.

Um, the minute this was mentioned by Trump the never-Trumpers and the media started the myth that it was dangerous and that it didn't work, despite evidence at the time that it did. Therein lies the problem. The media has duped a large portion of this country with regards to Trump.

For starters, Trump had just criticism for his statements. He was calling hydroxychloroquine perhaps the biggest game changer in the history of medicine and that kind of language is just stupid.

You want to say that the media overhyped the danger of the drug, I’ll agree with you. But my opinion generally is that media is bad at reporting science. On the other side, the slavish pro-Trump mainstream media was trying everything they could to misrepresent the science about its efficacy. Tucker Carlson had some dude claiming to be from Stanford Medical preaching its benefits but Stanford said they never heard of the guy.

At the end of the day, the drug just didn’t work out and it’s time to move on but Trump and his supporters can not admit they were wrong.

Never-Trumpers can't admit they were wrong. They claimed it didn't work, despite preliminary evidence to the contrary. They continue to say it is dangerous which is straight up hilarious and shows the extent of their indoctrination.

There are still studies that indicate that it is working in some cases. Follow the money on this one. Big pharma certainly wouldn't prefer for a generic to be the answer. Don't kid yourself and think they are immune to corruption, money or political bias.

It doesn’t work. Whoever said it doesn’t work turned out to be right. “Some studies” don’t prove that it works when the overwhelming weight of evidence is against it.

You can make up conspiracies to ignore the science, but at the end of the day you’re just inventing stories to suit yourself and acting like I’m naive for pointing that out.

And liberals were knee-jerking in the opposite direction with no more knowledge about it than trump had

Sure, okay. And?

Trump was wrong. His lack of ability to admit it is a big problem.
