Do you trust our military in event of marital law?

#metoo. **** him
At least Pogo was/is fun. This fuckwit is just NASTY. He does it to everyone no matter the typo. What a loser to focus on that shit instead of the message or topic.

He insults John Wayne every time his gnarled ugly fingers furiously type out his lame responses.

Been watching movies today. Mostly disaster ones where the military guards entries and exits in neighborhoods, etc. In every one of those movies, the military are assholes.

Which begs the question and also piqued my curiosity....if there were some major catastrophe, martial law or no law and military intervenes...do you trust them to do the right thing..whatever the right thing is for us civilians...not for the good of commanders who want more chest medals?
You poor thing. Don't you have anyone who cares enough about you to explain those are just movies, and you don't need to worry about such things really happening?

I wish I had the same faith you do, hossfly. I surely do. But the time has come where I don't trust any government agency which includes the military. I'd LIKE to think decent men and women meant what they said when they enlisted...but now? It's not the same military it used to be thanks to the woke crowd. Bad ones joined or were recruited. And I think more bad than good.

Have patience, Gracie, justice will win out. When I say "I give up'' then you can panic. But I will never give up because I believe in God and justice.

Yer a dick. You have always been a dick. And I'm fed up with your hall monitor schtick. On iggie you go.

An jes fer fun, yoo kin bich sum mor abowt speeling errers an aye wownt hafta seen it.

Hitler would make his soldiers take drugs in order to make them fight without wanting sleep and kill without having any hesitation so they could do the most heinous of acts.

I do too, but I think that fat lady warbled her last. :(
I'm hoping salvation will prevail...with our country and the help of God, but...maybe God has had enough. There is so much evil in this world now. It took over. It will be a miracle to fix it all. And now that we don't have a sane STRONG potus...all we have left is our military....and God.

Its like cops. Law enforcement. There are some really GOOD cops out there doing great things. But we also have assholes that think they are god because they have a badge. I guess it depends on the mental morality and strength of our soldiers in all branches to do the right thing. They are our only hope now.

If 1/6 can be used as an example, yep, I trust that they will murder Americans at the behest of Piglosi.

Only one is real.
There are about 3000, so that makes you an athiest when it comes to 2999. of them . We are exactly the same except I don't believe in just 1 more than you don't believe in.

Kent State shootings were not deliberate. And had nothing to do with "martial law".

Don't know what the hell "marital law" is.
Kent State shootings were not deliberate? you mean they did not mean to fire into the crowd?
And had nothing to do with "martial law".No one said it did but it does show the US military will follow orders and fire into groupof Americans without hesitation

I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed ...

Double meaning. What if the potus and the officers are the enemy???

The Guard at Kent State was NEVER ORDERED to fire. One guardsman shot apparently as a panicked reaction and the other guardsman reacted to that shot.

IIRC there is plenty of photographic evidence of the Guard commanders desperately trying to stop their soldiers from firing.

SUBTOPIC: The Unthinkable
⁜→ Gracie, et al,

BLUF: The will always be those moments in time when we disagree with The President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over us. This is where we need to have a little faith.

(COMMENT)

I'm retired military. And there have been many times I had to wonder if the Leadership needed a bit of adjustment in their headspace and timing. But that is not our job. The "oath" reminds us that the military operates where and when our nation calls.

There take a special kind of person to be in law enforcement. And there are times when those not quite mentally sound slip through the cracks. And those are the ones you hear about. You don't hear about the many many thousands that are out there doing the best they can with what they have.

Martial Law is a measure of last resort. If you have worries about law enforcement now, wait until the military is out there pounding the pavement.

Martial Law is a desperate move by a civilian leadership that has lost the ability to lead. The use of the military is a very last resort measure when there are no other options.

Iam sure, that is their story and they are sticking to it.
Which is worse because it shows the officers cannot control their troops

I don’t trust Joe Biden and he‘s entirely incompetent. So no, I would not trust the military during martial law.
