Also, the modern, post 60s Left no longer supported the KKK. The Left got out of bed with the Dixiecrats and southern racists when it started to formerly push for racial equality under Kennedy - which ultimately lead to LBJ's passage of the Civil Rights Act and the dismantling of the segregationist south (along with the New Deal Coalition built by FDR, which relied heavily upon the South). The Left's tilt toward racial equality created an opening for the Right, which was finally cashed in by Reagan, who launched his presidential campaign in Philadelphia Mississippi where he championed "State's Rights" against an over-reaching Federal Government that had destroyed southern tradition and culture.

What is most interesting is that the two most powerful voting coalitions in the last 100 years were built around the racist south, each time because a particular political party got in bed with the devil to control the powers of Washington. First with FDR's New Deal Coalition, then with Reagan's small government/state's rights coalition. In each case we saw one party winning the south overwhelmingly.

But back to the point. All the evidence suggests that Houser was a government hating Rightwinger that subscribed to the racial view of intelligence, which attributes superiority to the white race. I see this as scary, but I know plenty of people on the Right who think whites are the superior race, starting with William F Buckley:

I did see that Guno voted for the Christians to be fed to the lions. He's not alone. There have been others here who have done the same and these are the same people who will make a thread complaining they saw a Christian who wished someone dead. Their outrage was over the top. The term hypocrite does not quite cover the immensity of just how hypocritical it was but what other word could be found to describe it? I cannot think of one.
